About me

Hi, I’m Jackie, a multidisciplinary artist and surface pattern designer based in New Bern, North Carolina. My art and designs are inspired by my lifelong love of the natural world, expressed through my use of bold color, texture, and organic forms.
I explore many media such as hand-painted silk, linocut techniques, and photography, which influence my pattern designs. My work blends traditional craftsmanship with modern techniques and technology—drawing inspiration from flora and fauna to create designs that feel organic and vibrant.
With more than 25 years of experience in textile and fibre arts, I’ve developed a distinctive visual style that can be applied to many products such as fabric, wallpaper, stationery, and home decor. My style is influenced by artists such as Monet, Van Gogh, and Georgia O’Keeffe, but my voice is uniquely mine—bold, fluid, and inspired by the ever-evolving natural world.
If you’re looking for artful, nature-inspired designs that connect with people on a deeper level, I’d love to collaborate.
